2023 Kings of Southern Soul Performers
The loaded lineup features two returning royals. Calvin Richardson‘s buttery smooth vocals roll back in with three Grammy Award nominations and a top 10 R&B record. Baton Rouge party starter Pokey Bear also returns with his signature brand of danceable bayou soul.
Sir Charles Jones: Dim the lights. Jones’s second album, Love Machine, spent 57 weeks on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Charts and peaked at No. 9 on Billboard’s Independent Chart.
King George: King George drives the party with old-school flavor from South Carolina. His 2022 lowkey hit “Keep On Rollin” has more than 31 million listens on YouTube alone.
West Love: Georgia’s esteemed “princess” of southern soul is here to party. Study up: West Love even has her own line dance, the West Love slide.
Jay Morris Group: Jay Morris leads a dynamic trio that delivers electric soul with old-school flair and breathtaking harmonies.
King South: The Southern Soul Cowboy blends a variety of influences from country to R&B, soul, and hip hop.
