Welcome
Welcome to the Rocky Mount Event Center
We are proud to be Eastern North Carolina’s premier sporting and entertainment venue. Our goal is to provide every guest with an excellent, safe, and enjoyable experience. To help ensure that, we ask all guests to review and follow the policies below.
Parking & Transportation
Parking is available on-site and in nearby off-site lots within walking distance of the venue.
Parking Fee: $10 per vehicle (cash only), when applicable
Parking Opens: Times vary by event
Off-Site Parking: Guests should plan accordingly and allow extra time to walk or use shuttle services
Shuttle Service: Complimentary shuttles may be available for select events; wait times may occur
Weather Advisory: Please check the weather in advance and prepare appropriately when parking off site
All guests must follow posted signage and parking attendant instructions. Guests who bypass attendants or refuse to pay required parking fees may be removed and barred from the facility. Abusive behavior toward staff or other guests will not be tolerated.
Entry, Security & Prohibited Items
For the safety of all guests, security screenings are conducted at all events.
Prohibited items include:
Firearms or weapons of any kind
Smoking or vaping
Outside food or beverages
Bags may be subject to search. For some events, bags may be discouraged to expedite entry.
Outside Food, Drinks, & Seating
No outside food or drinks (including coffee, Yeti mugs, canisters, flask, team snacks, coolers, etc.) are allowed in the facility. Please feel free to visit one of our concessions with a variety of dietary options. We offer a full concessions area with drinks, snacks, and more.
Adult beverages are offered for any guests that are 21 and over. ID’s will be checked in accordance with state law.
No outside chairs are allowed in the facility. There is no exception to this rule. However, seat cushions and seat pillows without the frames are allowed.
Ticketing & Credentials
Ticket pricing is determined by the event organizer or tournament director. The Rocky Mount Event Center does not control ticket prices. Any pricing questions will need to be directed to tournament staff.
Guests must keep a valid ticket, wristband, or credential visible at all times while inside the facility.
Personal Belongings
We encourage all guests to please keep up with their personal belongings during the event. We are not responsible for any personal items in your vehicle or in the facility. We do have a lost and found log at our Guest Service desk.
Guest Conduct & Enforcement
The Rocky Mount Event Center maintains a zero-tolerance policy for verbally abusive behavior toward staff or guests will not be tolerated. Guests who fail to follow protocols or cause disruptions may be handled by security and local law enforcement and removed from the facility. Guests who don’t follow the clearly displayed traffic and parking patterns may be prohibited from entering the facility.
Any person who intentionally drives past the parking attendants without paying for parking, will be barred and trespassed from the facility and security and law enforcement will be dispatched.
Youth Supervision
Parents, guardians, coaches, and group leaders are responsible for supervising minors at all times. Unsupervised minors are not permitted to loiter in the facility.
Restrooms, Locker Rooms & Facility Care
Guests must use restrooms and locker rooms appropriately. Loitering in these areas is prohibited.
Any damage to the facility caused by an individual or group may result in financial responsibility for repairs or cleaning.
Failure to Comply
Failure to follow the policies, leaves the Rocky Mount Event Center the option to request you to exit the facility.
