Teach For America North Carolina, in partnership with the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce, is bringing its “One Day” Event Tour to Rocky Mount for an inspiring evening focused on education, innovation, and opportunity across Eastern North Carolina.
Join us on Monday, February 16, from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Rocky Mount Event Center as we celebrate the brilliance of ENC students and recognize the lasting impact of Teach For America educators throughout the region.
The evening will feature a dynamic panel discussion with North Carolina State Superintendent of Public Instruction Mo Green and 2025 Burroughs Wellcome Fund North Carolina Teacher of the Year and Teach For America Eastern North Carolina alumna Rachel Candaso (ENC ’20). The conversation will be moderated by Robyn Fehrman, Executive Director of Teach For America North Carolina.
This event offers a meaningful opportunity for community leaders, educators, and partners to come together, share ideas, and explore bold innovations shaping the future of education in Eastern North Carolina.
