Getting Around in Rocky Mount: How to Travel to and From Our Indoor Sports Facility

By Car

Rocky Mount has an extensive road network to get around. Two major U.S. highways intersect just north of the Tar River, U.S. Highway 64 (east-west) and 301 (north-south). Interstate 95 passes by a few miles west of town. If you’re traveling here along I-95, take Exit 138 east to head towards downtown.

By Bus

Rocky Mount has a Greyhound bus station five blocks south of our indoor sports facility. We also have a regional public transit system, Tar River Transit, that serves the greater metro area. TRT runs Monday through Saturday, and four routes service the downtown area. 

By Train

The Amtrak station is just five blocks south of Rocky Mount Event Center. From there, you can easily catch a TRT bus to travel anywhere in Rocky Mount. You’re also within walking distance of our vibrant downtown area.

Local Transportation

Rocky Mount is a vibrant city, which means several options for personal transportation. Feel free to research taxis, limousines, and other personal transportation choices. Many of these services are available at any time.
