Large Event Space for Your Concert
We have one of the largest and most versatile concert venues outside of the Research Triangle in our state. Rocky Mount Event Center provides a state-of-the-art and versatile venue ideal for events that need a location between New York and Miami.
In addition to the concert floor, our facility has concessions for fans who want food and drinks during the concert. We have in-house catering so you can treat your concert team right. You and your crew can eat in between rehearsals and sound checks before the concert itself. We can also bring in catered food from restaurants here locally.
We Can Accommodate Events of Any Size
Our main concert floor encompasses 75,000 square feet of floor space and has a seating capacity of 3,000 people above the floor on telescoping seats and more than 900 on the floor facing the stage.
Rooms off to the side of the concert floor can serve as a storage area, a green room, a rehearsal room, or a more intimate space for meet-and-greet events before the concert itself. We can set up the stage and configure it to be near a row of side rooms for you and your staff.
Our concert space can be altered to accommodate various crowd sizes. If you need a smaller space, we can move the stage to where you need it and lower the lights. For the largest possible stage, we can outfit the area with a large bank of lights with speakers.
Do you want a dance floor? We can do that too, from small to large. The dance floor can be in front of the stage, in the middle of the crowd, or toward the back.
We offer a shuttle service for when your fans find parking further away from our venue. So, you won’t have to worry about rain or bad weather. Your fans should have no problems with parking or getting to the Rocky Mount Event Center.
Concert venues need restrooms for your guests to use. We have enough restrooms to handle small and large crowds.

The Courtside Cafe and Field House concessions are near the main concert floor. The Game Day Adventure & Arcade sits just off the concert floor in a family-friendly activity area.

Experienced Concert Event Staff
Our experienced, full-service event staff will help you with everything you need. You can begin setting up your event by reaching out to us and downloading our facility guide. You can see the various layouts, seating arrangements, and the rooms next to the main concert floor so you can visualize your setup.
Next, we’ll meet with your team to discuss your requirements. We might meet virtually first before having an in-person meeting in Rocky Mount. Once here, we’ll give you the grand tour, discuss any concerns you may have, and talk about the terms of any agreements you need.
Our staff has extensive experience working dozens of concerts at Rocky Mount Event Center since it opened in 2018. From Grammy-winning acts like The Baylor Project and Steven Curtis Chapman to national talent winner Brooke Simpson and fan-favorite Keith Sweat, our staff is more than capable of handling a wide range of acts here in eastern North Carolina!
Close to Lodging and Not Far From a Major Airport
There are several hotels and accommodations in Rocky Mount, with some highly rated national chains and local places to stay that offer great hospitality. There should be plenty of rooms for your team to stay while you’re in town. If your fans are traveling here for the evening, the hotels in town generally have enough rooms.
Rocky Mount sits one hour from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Most major airlines fly into and out of the airport with nonstop flights to 75 destinations up and down the East Coast, to the West Coast, and many points in between.
Two major highways go near Rocky Mount. I-95 and U.S. 64 meet northwest of town, and one exit to the east of that intersection is where most of the hotels are located in Rocky Mount.
